Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films typically that are in the genre of martial arts and horror. genre, which is roughly comparable like The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and a morbid enjoyment of them. The reviews began at the end of 2009 and, following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler was part of Channel Awesome's family. The website was her home from 2009 until the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents turned into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts on her channel, both of which are based on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Ninja the Mission Force shows her in action in the role of Interpol Ninja Cheetah. In addition, she appeared as a character in Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! and frequently guest-starred on his TV show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible film for children or RiffTrax live-streamed shows, and occasionally an adult comedy (including Baywatch, of course Baywatch (2017)). Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started reviewing films, and began to gain a following on the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the group of film critics. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She used to be a member in the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also frequently appear on the episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
